Hey members!

Calling all badminton players, the 2011 Open Tournament is coming up! This year, UBC Badminton Club will be hosting the tournament on February 11, 12 and 13. That’s Friday evening (Feb 11) before Reading Break until Sunday (Feb 13).

This tournament is OPEN to all players, including non-UBC students. Invite your friends for a little (friendly?) competition to kick off the break this year!

Registration:
Players are welcome to play in any number of events, and can sign up using this link. (Please register separately for multiple events.)

Schedule:
Specific events (mens/womens singles/doubles) will be run on each day. Schedule TBA.

Location:
Osbourne Gym A

Pricing:
UBC Badminton Club Members: $25/person, to play in any number of events.
Non-members: $25 for 1 event; $35 for 2 events, $40 for 3 events

During the tournament:
We will be running concession, mini-game stations, and other funstuffs on the side while matches are played. One of the mini-games will be an Angry Birds Tournament. (Say what?! Come and find out!)

Prizes!
We will be giving out prizes to top ranking players, plus draw prizes open to everyone present!!
